INCUBATOR ZONEa support programme for first-time exhibitors
Now in its third and final year, the Incubator Zone supports small and micro businesses in County Durham.
Over the first two years, over 35 exhibitors signed up to a support package that was designed to help them become exhibition-ready. You can see last year’s Incubator Zone in the video below).
To qualify for the Incubator Zone, your business must:
- Be located in County Durham
- Have limited or no experience of large exhibitions
- Be actively looking to grow
- Employ around 10 people or less
- Be available to attend workshops and 1-to-1 sessions
- Meet certain funding criteria (see below)*
- Pay a match-funding contribution of £300
The programme is delivered by the Durham Business Opportunities Programme (DBOP) and LEC Communications and Design, who will provide a support package that includes help and advice on exhibiting at a large exhibition for the first time. You will also receive basic exhibition materials, designed and printed ready for the show.
*The Incubator Zone is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERFD) and your business must meet certain criteria to qualify for the funding. Approximate programme value £1,200. Approximate funding amount £761.
