INCUBATOR ZONEa support programme for first-time exhibitors
Now in its third year, the Incubator Zone supports small and micro businesses in County Durham.
Over the first two years, over 35 exhibitors signed up to a support package that was designed to help them become exhibition-ready. You can see last year’s Incubator Zone in the video below).
To qualify for the Incubator Zone, your business must:
- Be located in County Durham
- Have limited or no experience of large exhibitions
- Be actively looking to grow
- Employ around 10 people or less
- Be available to attend workshops and 1-to-1 sessions
- Meet certain funding criteria (see below)*
- Pay a match-funding contribution of £300
The programme is delivered by the Durham Business Opportunities Programme (DBOP) and Buzztastics www.dbopem.co.uk, who will provide a support package that includes help and advice on exhibiting at a large exhibition for the first time. You will also receive basic exhibition materials, designed and printed ready for the show.
*The Incubator Zone is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERFD) and your business must meet certain criteria to qualify for the funding. Approximate programme value £1,200. Approximate funding amount £761.
