Recocoa is a  high value Biosciences company with UK and EU Patents, Trade Secrets and Trademarks. These drive an innovative technology that manufactures products that impact Cardiometabolic Diseases. The value was recognised when the company won IUK’s Northern Accelerator Competition in 2020.

The vision is to use its IP, Patents and Trade Secrets to globally impact the Diseases of Aging and Biological Longevity.The company  has developed a natural flavanol based  technology that allows it to isolate and characterize  powerful Botanical Bioactives  enabling it to build a platform technology  that allows  deployment  into the body. This flavanol ingredient is the first to meet the EFSA Heart Health Claim. The FDA have now approved a Qualified Heart Health Claim. This allows us to manufacture a range of Natural Medical Botanical Food/Products and Natural Botanical Drugs with a Heart Health Claims.

Our Future:

SSE Renewables – Berwick Bank Wind Farm

Berwick Bank Wind Farm is a 4.1GW Project currently in the development stage. The Project is being developed by SSE Renewables.

We submitted a planning application to Scottish Ministers and East Lothian Council in 2022, which could see up to 307 turbines constructed, capable of powering over 5 million homes

Berwick Bank Wind Farm will have grid connections in East Lothian, Scotland and Cambois, Northumberland.

We will be submitted our planning applications relating to our proposed Cambois Connection in Autumn 2023

Located approx. 37km off the coast of East Lothian. Berwick Bank Wind Farm could represent a boost of upto £8bn to the UK economy and see upto 9,000 potential jobs created in the UK.
