We’re delighted to welcome several returning support partners to EMCON 2019.

Stadler Rail will be back as headline sponsor – the rail sector giant’s third time as a sponsor of the show.

Stadler joins gold sponsor Business Durham, which has supported the event for over a decade.

Elaine Greenwood (pictured), UK light rail representative for Stadler Rail UK, said: “We’ve been endorsing EMCON since 2017, although 2018 was our first year as headline sponsor. Because we got so much from the event, it was an easy decision for us to return in 2019.

“We engaged with so many businesses last year and are confident that many of the companies we’ve established relationships with could become suppliers to us in future.”

Also returning to EMCON 2019 is delivery partner Jackson Hogg Recruitment, who will once again facilitate an industry leaders Q&A panel during the event on October 10.

Chris Beevers, Head of Technical at Jackson Hogg, said: “We were delighted to be so closely involved with EMCON last year and found the event to be an ideal chance to catch up with contacts old and new.

“We gained an insightful snapshot of how the industry was performing in general and of its areas of growth through having such a relevant cross section in the same place at the same time, so when we were asked to be delivery partner again this year, it was an easy decision for us to say yes.”

In addition, a long-term exhibitor and active supporter of EMCON has come on board as a bronze sponsor. E-Max Systems has attended EMCON for several years, taking up a prime spot at the entrance to the show’s main hall.

The company has chosen to become a sponsor this year after announcing that it has won a substantial amount of new business as a result of exhibiting at EMCON.

Jason Pritchard, sales director at E-Max Systems, said: “EMCON has been a fantastic platform for us and has helped us generate business worth over £170,000 to the company.

“It was for that reason that we decided to come on board as a bronze sponsor. The opportunities this offers are of real benefit to us and we feel that increasing our participation in the event underscores our commitment to the show and the value we place on it.”
