In our latest Spotlight On sponsor profile, Leanne Fawcett chats to EMCON bronze sponsor, specialist warehousing and logistics company InBond, about the business and what they hope to get from this year’s event.
Tell us more about InBond (http://www.inbond.com/)
InBond, with over 20 years’ experience in the warehousing and logistics industry, provides clients with excellent service and a valued supply chain solution. Based in Stockton-on-Tees, InBond has grown significantly in the last few years and now boasts circa. 50 full-time employees and contracts with large brands such as Quorn Foods and Fuji Film.
You’re a Bronze Sponsor of this year’s EMCON event. What appealed to you about the event?
EMCON is local to us and given the range of manufacturing clients InBond already work with (in the area, nationally and internationally) we are keen to connect with other local businesses who perhaps have not heard of InBond yet or, due to a change in their strategy would like to outsource parts of their operation. Given the uncertainty surrounding Brexit at present, we consider more and more businesses that rely on JIT manufacturing will need to utilise third party warehousing providers to ensure a stock buffer.
What are you looking to get from the event?
Each show for us is different although there are similar themes in relation to what we hope to achieve. The obvious one for us is brand awareness – something we have hugely pushed this year and coincides with appointing Zoe Arkell as our Marketing and Business Development Manager. Secondly, if we can leave a show with a handful of genuine enquiries that could lead to business further down the line, then it has been a success.
Given the North East of England is so heavily populated by manufacturing industries, our market (within the area we already operate) is vast. Although our current client base is burgeoning – we would love to welcome more
